Are you loving the new 20-peso coin? Fairly, is not it? Nicely, as it turns out, we’re not the only kinds having recognize of the new Philippine coin. The Global Association of Forex Affairs, or IACA, has acknowledged the P20 coin as just one of a few finalists for the Ideal New Coin category at the annual Excellence in Currency Awards.

The Philippine coin is up versus a 20-peso commemorative coin from Mexico, and Kazakhstan’s 200 tenge coin.

The contending coins will be judged according to established conditions, which involve innovation in structure, uniqueness, historical or regional relevance, esthetic enchantment, and more. The winners will be introduced on February 22, at IACA’s Banknote and Forex Conference in Washington, DC.

According to IACA, the awards have been founded to “promote and recognize excellence in banknote and coin generation, processing, management, distribution and relevant actions of the cash local community.” The business is based in Texas, United states.
